HYPNOSIS: Is a state of focused awareness. It's something everyone has experienced countless times among instances of it are waking up or getting absorbed in a good book.
Memories are recorded and stored as we age and with time. They become more and more influence. Our time line is our memory coding of the brain. It is how people encode and store memory this is how we decipher between past memories and now. Otherwise how would you know the difference between a past memory and future.
CAN ANY BE HYPNOTIZED: Because hypnosis is a normal state that everybody passes through just before they go to sleep, the answer is YES. However, one can resist hypnosis, just like one can resist sleep. (For a while) But with practice the resistance can be overcome.
WHAT IS THE VALUE OF HYPNOSIS: Because the sub-conscious mind controls the body physically, and mentally, and emotionally we can change how the mind works by giving new instructions. The subconscious, mid is out perfect servant, and when one is in the hypnotic state the hypnotist speaks to the sub-conscious and gives it instructions.
WHY DO SOME PEOPLE HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT HYPNOSIS: Hypnosis is very much misunderstood?. For centuries, it has been affiliated with spiritualism, and witchcraft. Some doctors and psychiatrists too doubt the value of hypnosis, because Freud gave it up some sixty years ago - he was not a good hypnotist.
IS HYPNOSIS DANGEROUS: The hypnotic state is NO more dangerous than the sleep state.
WHAT DOSE IT FEEL LIKE TO BE HYPNOTIZED: Most people give up hypnosis after a few sessions because they are disappointed in their reactions, believing that they are not receptive to hypnosis. Often he/she equates being hypnotized with being anesthetized, or bring asleep, or being unconscious. When in hypnosis he/she can reset suggestions if they so desire; that their attention keeps wandering, and that they have not fallen asleep. He/She remembers everything when they wake up, they believe they have failed. If one enters a sleep, you may have the feeling of being heavy, or that you are floating: at the very most, you might feel that your mind and body are separated.
WHAT HYPNOSIS IS NOT: It is not sleep.
The participant is thoroughly aware of their surroundings. You can
not get stuck in hypnosis. A hypnotized person will not violate their
code of ethics.
